  • Olive Oil: Olive oil is the most popular massage oil used for babies. Babies with dry or broken skin, can be massaged with olive oil. Olive oil is low in a fatty acid called linoleic acid and high in another fatty acid called oleic acid.

          However, a study found that, compared with sunflower seed oil, using olive oil on the skin damaged the skin barrier. It can aggravate rashes, cuts, eczema or other allergies.
